Dajah Smith

When I go to college I want to study photography. I chose photography because it’s a capture of art that you can keep forever you could express yourself in your pictures and how you feel at the time. Many people may be able to relate .It may bring memories, tears or even a smile but the three techniques I think brings out photography the most is photographing children, focal points and creating active

Space.

Photographing children I think can be the best jobs ever because you can take pictures and have fun with them because a child’s smile can brighten up anyone’s day. Getting on your hands and knees and viewing a child’s point of view. Doing things with kids that they love to do u can get your best shots like going to the park and observing and watching them have fun that’s what I would call a happy stage. Moving around with them and trying to have just as much energy. You can take numerous pictures from different focal views and angles.

To me focal points are the most important part. Always when your taking a picture ask your self what’s your focal point. The focal points are important because your eye always have to have a resting point with out your picture wouldn’t have no purpose and it wouldn’t be interesting. So place the camera in a promising position that will catch someone’s eye. Using color can also be away setting your point of interest apart from its surroundings.

Creating active space for any moving objects such as animals people on cars to move in shows what direction its headed into. behind the moving the object is called dead space. Working with your viewer creates Balance, Drama and anticipation in your shot.

Now see why? I want to go to college for photography I mean who wouldn’t. All techniques will take you to the top of the charts photographing children, using focal points and creating active space. who wouldn’t love your photos I love nature and I love being involved with the community and photography would help me do both!
